Key responsibilities

  • Research and interpret tax regulations across key jurisdictions, across Asia, with focus on Hong Kong.
  • Oversee tax compliance for corporate entities and funds, ensuring accurate and timely filings.
  • Evaluate business initiatives and advise on tax implications and structuring options.
  • Assist with tax-related reporting for funds, supporting both investor and regulatory requirements.

Role requirements

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of tax experience, with essential exposure to asset management or hedge funds.
  • Candidates directly from Big 4 firms with tax experience, particularly in asset management or hedge fund coverage, will be considered.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards and multi-jurisdictional tax regulations, including Hong Kong and other Asian markets.
  • Good project management, time management, and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical skills; prior experience in financial institutions or asset management is advantageous
