Head of APAC FP&A – Financial Markets

We are currently partnering with a leading global financial services firm, who facilitate trading across a number of international markets and assets including Rates, Credit, Equities, Commodities and FX, supporting a global client base including banks and other financial institutions

They are looking to hire a Head of APAC FP&A to support senior leadership on strategic decision making across the region, delivering continuous quantitative analysis and financial insights to support a range of internal and external initiatives, including ongoing business performance evaluation.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the APAC FP&A capability, ensuring alignment with global strategic initiatives
  • Deliver high-quality financial analysis and actionable recommendations to senior stakeholders across business performance and strategic projects
  • Support end-to-end corporate development activities, including broker acquisitions, valuation, due diligence, execution, and integration
  • Partner with front office and cross-functional teams (Finance, Legal, HR, Operations) to drive strategic growth and optimise business performance
  • Analyse complex datasets and market trends to provide insights on competitors, clients, and new opportunities
  • Identify and implement process improvements, while maintaining robust financial reporting and management information frameworks

Role requirements

  • 12+ years of experience working within the Financial Services industry
  • Experience within a Financial Markets environment – most likely gained within a Product Control function or FP&A / MI reporting role
  • Strong ability to collaborate with regional and global stakeholders across functions and seniority levels.
