Role Overview:

An exciting opportunity to join a well-established PLC manufacturing group as the Group Head of Accounting, leading the overall financial controllership, group reporting, governance, and compliance functions across the business. This role offers strong leadership exposure while partnering closely with senior management and the Board.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead Group consolidation, statutory reporting, and monthly/quarterly financial reporting
  • Oversee Bursa reporting, regulatory compliance, audit, and financial governance
  • Drive strong internal controls, accounting policies, and controllership processes across the Group
  • Manage and develop a high-performing accounting team
  • Partner with senior stakeholders on financial integrity, reporting, and compliance matters
  • Lead finance process improvements and ERP governance initiatives

Role requirements

  • Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CA, ICAEW, MIA or equivalent
  • 12–15 years of accounting and financial reporting experience, with leadership exposure
  • Strong experience in group consolidation, audit, internal controls, and statutory reporting
  • Exposure to PLC/public-listed environment and Bursa reporting is highly preferred
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge in MFRS & IFRS
  • Hands-on leadership style with strong stakeholder management skills
