About the Role:

 

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Recruitment Consultant Intern to join our Banking & Financial Services (BFSI) Desk. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are keen to build a career in talent acquisition within the dynamic BFSI sector. You will work closely with our experienced recruitment team, directly under the guidance of the Managing Partner, gaining hands-on exposure to the full recruitment lifecycle.

 

No prior recruitment experience is required – we welcome candidates from all backgrounds who have a genuine interest in BFSI recruitment and a drive to learn and grow.

 

Position: Recruitment Consultant Intern – BFSI Desk

Employment Type: Internship

Duration: 3 – 6 Months

Working Days: 5 Days a Week (Monday to Friday)

Conversion Opportunity: Full-Time role upon successful completion, based on performance

Key responsibilities

  • Support the end-to-end recruitment process for BFSI roles, from sourcing candidates to coordinating onboarding activities.
  • Source potential candidates through job portals (Naukri, LinkedIn, Monster, Indeed, etc.), referrals, and other creative channels.
  • Conduct initial screening calls to evaluate candidates’ background, skills, and interest in available roles.
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews between shortlisted candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a smooth candidate experience.
  • Maintain and update candidate databases and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Build and nurture a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for ongoing and future BFSI hiring requirements.
  • Assist in drafting and posting job descriptions on relevant platforms and portals.
  • Collaborate with senior recruiters and internal stakeholders to understand specific role requirements and client expectations.
  • Research and stay updated on BFSI industry trends, emerging roles, and market salary benchmarks.
  • Assist in preparing recruitment reports, trackers, and MIS for internal review.

Role requirements

  • A genuine interest in recruitment and the Banking & Financial Services Industry (BFSI).
  • Strong communication skills – both verbal and written.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and a proactive, self-driven attitude.
  • Basic proficiency with computers, email, and internet-based tools.
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn or any job portals is a plus, but not mandatory.
