APAC Chief Financial Officer

Our client, a well-established organisation with a diversified APAC footprint, is seeking an experienced APAC Chief Financial Officer to lead its regional finance function. Working closely with the C-suite and country leadership teams, you will strengthen financial governance, drive sustainable profitability, and help shape the group’s regional strategic direction.

Key responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of finance — spanning financial operations, strategy, planning, governance, commercial counsel, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, financial reporting, and audit and tax matters, across the region
  • Deliver financial and commercial insight to guide growth and investment decisions, while consolidating performance results across all APAC markets
  • Drive M&A activity and corporate finance initiatives
  • Establish and maintain strong financial controls, policies and risk management frameworks
  • Ensure adherence to accounting, audit, tax and statutory obligations across every jurisdiction
  • Lead all tax-related functions — spanning compliance, advisory and risk management

Role requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field with a recognized professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CA, or equivalent)
  • 12–15 years of progressive regional finance leadership experience, with a track record at senior management level
  • At least 10 years of hands-on accounting experience, including tax compliance and tax accounting across multiple jurisdictions
  • Strong stakeholder management, leadership, and communication skills
