Our client is a global financial institution with a sizeable Investment Banking Operations division in India, supporting their global footprint. To help facilitate their continued expansion they are actively looking for Vice President – Banking Operations with a consulting and operations strategy background who will be working with senior global functional leads to define the strategy and carry through its implementation.
Some of the key responsibilities will include:
- Lead the Regulatory Services Operations.
- Ensure timely completion and submission of daily, weekly, quarterly and annual regulatory reports
- Work closely with teams across the organization such as Operations, Technology, Risk, Compliance, Financial Controls and resolve regulatory reporting issues
- Work closely with the LOB, Change Management and Technology to reduce the operational risk. Requires an in-depth knowledge of the financial solutions and associated operations.
To be eligible for this role you will require:
- At least 8+ years of management experience in consulting and operations strategy
- Proven track record of at least 3+ years in team and people management
- Understanding of financial services regulatory environment
- A strong management consulting background combined with execution experience
- Experience within financial services and capital market operations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
