Key responsibilities

To take responsibility for all finance and accounting matters for the group and act as key point of contact
Lead preparation of all financial and regulatory reporting at Group and individual entity level.
Implement necessary internal controls over Financial Reporting
Support business performance review
Work with Treasury to maintain discipline around cash flow management
Work with Business Heads to provide advise on accounting treatment and implications on reporting and tax compliance on strategic initiatives
Establish and maintain relationship with externa auditors and key third party professional advisors

Role requirements

A degree in Finance and accounting, and CPA or related qualification with atleast 10 years of working experience within Financial Services, Fintech or Technology firm
Proficiency in IFRS reporting, good understanding of US GAAP as well as Sarbanes-Oxley is essential
Prior experience in working for a listed or large MNC is preferred, with ability to work in a fast growing dynamic environment
Strong preference for candidates with experience working on Oracle or Workday Financial Systems
Excellent written and spoke English essential. Chinese language skills a strong plus
Must be a proven team player, with ability to demonstrate leadership skills when needed
Excellent presentation skills and confident to deal with senior stakeholders across the Group as well as externally
