Financial Strategy, Planning and Analysis Manager

My client is a fast growing Fintech business and currently looking to hire an experienced candidate to work with Head of Financial Strategy & Development. This role is under the Finance team, and requires someone with strong Financial modelling, strategy building and analysis experience.

Key responsibilities

  • Work with various business unit leaders and functional leaders in the firm to address their planning, budgeting and management reporting requirements
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly forecasts and annual operating plan
  • Provide high-quality financial analysis and commentary for presentation to Executive Committee and Board
  • Work closely with HR, Procurement and legal in providing financial views, reviews and forecasts
  • Act as key point of contact for select key finance and business initiatives across the group
  • Design and implement financial models, business cases and governance processes
  • Assist in strategic review for corporate M&A opportunities.
  • Undertake research and analysis across broad range of issues and initiatives to deliver high quality analysis/insights to stakeholders to drive business decisions.

Role requirements

  • A degree in Finance/Accounting with atleast 8 years of working experience in Financial Planning and Analysis. CPA or equivalent qualification a strong preference
  • Experience with capital raising/secondary market offerings and M&A deal experience is preferred
  • Must possess strong financial modeling and analysis skills, with hands-on experience in building models from scratch
  • Experience in delivering board papers/presentations to senior stakeholders necessary
  • Must posses excellent communication, presentation and project management skills
  • An understanding of various accounting standards and rules, as well as exposure to Oracale or Workday Financial systems
  • Ability to work in a fast growing and dynamic environment and able to think ‘outside the box’
