Sales Director

Our client is a homegrown technology company focused on surveillance technology. They are looking to expand their business with the hire of a sales director to build and run a sales organization for a new division. They are looking for a candidate with a strong network and relationships in the real estate sector to drive revenue for the business. Someone with an entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to build, grow and lead a team will be ideal for this role.

Key responsibilities

  • Create strong relationships with key client stakeholders at both senior and mid-management levels
  • Understand the competitive landscape and market trends – creating strategies to achieve sales target based on these trends
  • Understand and effectively communicate the company’s value proposition, technology and solution to new clients
  • Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for a growing team; projecting expected sales volume and profit for the product and solutions available
  • Maintain sales staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, motivating and training employees.
  • Desire to own projects and exceed expectations, with ability to find solutions and deliver results within a rapidly changing, entrepreneurial, technology-driven culture
  • Ability to identify and solve client issues strategically

Role requirements

  • Eight to ten years of proven sales experience – experience in building a sales team is an imperative for this role
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with management and cross-functional teams
  • Existing relationships with private real estate companies is highly desirable in this role
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, driven and ambitious
