Recruitment Consultant – Accounting & Finance

2020 has been a defining year in recruitment, in some ways challenging, but in many ways it has been a year to define and solidify existing client relationships. We have seen strong demand from our clients throughout the year and we have exciting plans for growth in our Singapore and HK offices going into 2021.

Across both our Commerce and Financial Services teams in Singapore, we are keen to expand out our Finance / CFO practices and we are keen to speak to recruiters looking to make a move, or accountants who might be interested in making the switch across into recruitment as a career.

Key responsibilities

  • To operate independently as an experienced recruiter within your niche sector – including effective candidate and client management and business development
  • To be able to business develop independently and generate your own business as well as business for team members or other work streams
  • To generate your own consistent revenue stream
  • To effectively ‘cross-sell’ The Edge Partnership across your client base
  • The ability to manage a small team across one or multiple business lines
  • The ability to train and develop more junior team members
  • The ability to handle difficult negotiations commercially and effectively either face to face, on the phone or via written correspondence etc.
  • To communicate effectively with your national and international counterparts in relation to developments with  clients, candidates and potential opportunities in the market

Role requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience as an experienced recruiter within the local market (recruitment experience combined with extensive previous industry experience will be considered)
  • Alternatively a finance professional who is looking to make a move into the Recruitment industry.
  • Demonstrated your-self to be an effective and mature communicator
  • The ability to drive sales to existing and new clients
  • A high focus on quality and attention to detail
