Senior Sales Manager

Our client is a leading pan-regional over-the-top (OTT) video streaming service, available in 16 markets including Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, Myanmar, the Middle East as well as South Africa. Operating with both an ad-supported tier and a premium subscription tier, they deliver premium content in different genres from top content providers with local languages and subtitles, as well as original production series.

Key responsibilities

  • The major responsibility of the Senior Sales Manager is to improve the revenue growth targets by keeping the Company competitive and innovative. This person will be responsible for maximizing the Company resellers potential and developing quantitative strategic sales plans. This person is required to work very closely with resellers and with media agencies.
  • Achieving growth and hitting sales targets by successfully managing resellers
  • Designing and implementing a strategic sales plan that monetises companies AVOD service and original production
  • Work closely with production team and marketing teams to come out with opportunities for monetisation
  • Will need to demonstrate a flexible approach to sales, using different techniques as and when required. Must have a deep understanding of digital sale
  • Performance standards will be measured and judged on achievement of revenue targets, profitability, the quality of deliverables and on activity levels

Role requirements

  • Bachelor or Masters’ degree in business administration or a related field
  • Minimum of 8 years sales experience, preferably within digital sales environment and a proven track record of over-achieving sales targets
  • Passionate customer focused attitude
  • Excellent inter-personal, listening and communication skills
  • Excellent business acumen, negotiation and rapport building skills
  • Resilient, determined and able to work under pressure
  • Target focused, money driven and ambitious
  • Good organisational and time management skills
