Key responsibilities

  • To lead globally distributed team (100+ internal and outsourced vendor staff) in Europe and India with e2e accountability for Control-M enterprise workload automation platform, tools and infrastructure, operations, testing and scheduling services and service strategy
  • 24/7 processing and provisioning of the Firm’s Batch cycles to facilitate business processes, books and records, regulatory compliance, and start of day readiness.
  • Engineering and 24/7 operating Control-M Batch infrastructure and related tools.
  • Accountability for Batch Job Net integrity, Schedule/Calendar builds and standards, production tollgate, audit and SOX compliance, service cost allocation.
  • To ensure service performance by providing 24/7 IM posture, monitoring SLA headroom, collaboration with APP and Hosting business partners to optimize processing and drive automation.
  • Service Delivery Manager for the vendor teams to deliver contracted services within SLAs/OLAs and assist with implementing process/service improvements and automation.

 

Role requirements

  • 15+ years’ experience managing a global production operation in a large-scale environment, preferably for a financial institution.
  • Good leadership and teamwork skills to works collaboratively with Ops, Engineering, APP partners and Risk Management.
  • Expertise in AWS Batch processing using BMC Control-M and peripheral tools.
  • Experience with Agile and DevOps best-practices and modern technology Cloud adoption and external SaaS solutions.
  • Proficiency and prior experience of Event Management, Incident Management, Change-Management and Problem Management.
