Our client is the in-house agency dedicated to managing the marketing and communications for an automotive brand across the region. As part of their growth strategy for the year, they are currently searching for an outstanding Digital Strategist to join their team in Malaysia.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee projects within a range of various platforms (digital, CRM, broadcast and social) and provide support to the Senior Account Executive as needed
  • Assist in the preparation of estimates, budgets and presentations.
  • Understands the client’s business in order to anticipate the client’s advertising and marketing needs to help grow the client/agency
  • Works with the Director to develop and execute online and offline communications programs – guide day-to-day development of advertising activities
  • Responsible for ensuring all activities are executed according to the established budget and timelines – monitor of each department to ensure timelines, expectations are met
  • Ability to work cross functionally with account, media, creative and production team members
  • Liaise with client to ensure expectations are managed and met – marketing clients, digital/CRM clients – build trust of key clients
  • Deep understanding of campaign reporting – Google Analytics, Sysomos, other web tracking software
  • Bring forth digital research trends to account team, creative, and clients as appropriate

Role requirements

  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in digital media and/or marketing
  • Possesses leadership qualities, proactive attitude and teamwork skills
  • Creative and innovative thinker with a clear pov
  • Experienced in all facets of the digital marketing space: CRM, programmatic, social, mobile
  • Working knowledge of basic HTML, CMS Platforms such as WordPress
  • Demonstrated creative and innovative thinker
  • Experience in Search Engine Optimization and knowledge in how to manipulate copy, meta tags, keywords etc
  • Experience building and managing microsites, websites, both desktop and mobile with Responsive Design experience an asset
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to multi- task several projects at one time, while having the ability to work well under pressure
  • Superior organizational and time management skills and strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency in all functions of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Experience in traditional media (TV, Print, Radio) an asset
  • Automotive experience is a plus
  • Experience on regional brand campaigns and overall integrated thinking
