Job Description:

The Head of Ad Sales Malaysia will be a key manager who will be responsible for managing the growth of digital advertising in the region. This is a senior role and will be a key leadership manager in the market to drive the overall strategic operations of the digital advertising business. This role is suited to a top-down strategist and execution lead person.

Key responsibilities

  • Establishing and building agency relationships with key C-level agency leads
  • Business planning management and achieving growth in line with business KPIs.
  • Designing and implementing a strategic sales plan for overall AVOD service including Programmatic platforms in Malaysia and SEA
  • Manage overall Ad Sales and operations team.
  • Attract, recruit, develop and retain talent. Build a collaborative, cohesive, credible, high performing team within the organization.
  • Lead collaboration with management and stake holders and provide strategic insights on overall sales program.

Role requirements

  • Bachelor or Masters’ degree in business administration or a related field
  • Minimum of 15 years sales experience, with 12 years in a senior sales role wither as Head of Advertising for a digital publisher or an Agency Head for digital markets
  • Passionate Brand and Customer focused attitude
  • Proven record of overachieving sales targets at agency levels
  • Excellent inter-personal, listening and communication skills.
  • Excellent business acumen, negotiation and rapport building skills.
  • Strong drive and ambition
  • Team player, resilient and able to work under pressure.
  • Good organizational, people management and time management skills
  • Strong industry experience, market contacts at agency level
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars, and conferences.
