Head of Finance & Operations (Retail)

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial operations and finance teams (> 10 headcount) in subsidiaries across SEA
• Oversee financial and management reporting to parent company, while ensuring compliance with IFRS and manage local and US GAAP variances
• Play an active finance business partner role, utilise financial data and detailed insights in sales, profitability, pricing and spending to meet financial targets and support strategic decision making
• Oversee treasury, working capital and cash management
• Ensure accurate and timely provision of statutory accounts and compliance with local tax, customs and duties.
• Spearhead finance processes and system transformations, working closely with global IT and finance colleagues
• Coordinate and liaise with external parties including external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretary, local tax and government authorities where necessary
• Develop and manage effective warehouse operation for the timely shipment of orders and for control of inventory levels
• Act as Company Secretary in establishing an appropriate legal framework for the development of the Group’s regional business
• Assist the business through detailed financial analysis in achieving expansion goals and development of new/existing markets
• Develop, implement and drive compliance with internal controls as well as finance and accounting policies and procedures across all other functions.
