Head of Legal (Financial Services)

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice in relation to contracts, litigation and disputes, licensing, regulations and drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements/partnerships.
• Support Compliance & Risk teams in relation to regulatory changes across markets
• Oversee IP matters for the Company’s branding.
• Assist in DCM/ECM matters for fundraising/financing.
• Assist in M&A/divestments transactions.
• Prepare licensing documentation.
• Take on company secretarial responsibilities including maintenance of records and registrations with relevant authorities, oversight of employee share plans and processes, and attending of Board meetings and associated committees.
• Manage a team of direct reports.
• Identify and initiate relevant process improvements.
