Client Onboarding Director – Fintech/Blockchain

Key responsibilities

• Lead a small team in Hong Kong and take responsibility of the client onboarding processes and framework.
• Have oversight of the daily processes of AML/KYC checks and ensure. documents/processes adhere to relevant compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Handle any complicated and escalated cases from team members by working closely with frontline staff and/or clients and other relevant stakeholders.
• Assist in the development and implementation of control framework to manage the operational risk of the business.
• Work with Compliance to define and implement relevant policies and controls in the 1LOD.
• Provide training and guidance to team members as required.
• Participate in any ad-hoc tasks or projects as necessary based on the company’s development.
