My client is a leading start up in the payments space, and they are looking for a head of operations to join their business. This person will be tasked with ensuring the business runs smoothly, scaling the business through effective people management and good experience in leading operations for payments businesses and also ensuring the company is kept up to date with the changing payments landscape from a regulatory and trends perspective.

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate activities between sales, product, technology, and marketing to coordinate and implement relevant solutions.
  • Defining and delivering the necessary strategies for achieving objectives, ensuring that these are suitably documented and communicated to staff.
  • Provision of advice and guidance to members of the senior management team and executive management team.
  • Demonstrating an in-depth knowledge and expertise for all areas of operational control.
  • Channel a customer focused service to employees, clients, agencies, staff, and other internal teams.
  • Influencing and persuading to bring about change in own and business wide departments in a collaborative environment.

Role requirements

  • 8 to 10 years of payments operations and/or technology is necessary for this role.
  • Experience in operations in a payments led fintech with proven experience scaling the business.
  • Outstanding communication skills with the ability to work with different teams cross functionally.
  • Experience working with senior leadership teams and stakeholders.
