Key responsibilities
Reporting into the Head of Credit Risk, the incumbent will:
- Perform the credit and counterparty exposures across various transactions
- Provide credit risk input by conducting credit assessment for trading counterparties
- Work closely with Business, Risk Committee, other control functions to ensure the relevant risks are managed accordingly
- Ensure that trading follows procedures set out by regulatory guidelines & industry best practice
- Perform derivatives exposure assessment, limit monitoring, excess reporting and escalations
- Present relevant finding to Business, Risk and Control Departments as required
Role requirements
- A relevant degree in Business/Finance/Mathematics/Statistics related subjects
- At least 3-6 years of relevant experience in the credit risk capacity from financial institutions
- Familiar with OTC or electronic trading products; crypto products highly advantageous
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a fast paced, ever changing and growing organization required.
- Any prior knowledge, passion or working experience from a crypto/digital asset business is advantageous
- Proficiency in English and Chinese is a must
