Our client is an international payments platform looking to expand its operations in Asia. They are seeking an individual to build proactive relationships with the MAS and other stakeholders locally and globally, to ensure their compliance practices is aligned with the overall Company objectives.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee Singapore’s compliance programme
  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of the regulatory requirements and ensuring any developments and changes are incorporated into procedures and practices as appropriate
  • Liaise with the MAS, maintaining an effective relationship with the regulator and managing all regulatory inquiries and reviews, including reporting and notification matters
  • Provide training to all employees on relevant regulatory and legislative requirements
  • Review, assess and enhance compliance policies and procedures and the compliance monitoring programme to reflect regulatory developments and best practices

Role requirements

  • Previous compliance experience in technology platforms such as Payment Services, Credit Cards or Retail Banking will be advantageous
  • Strong interpersonal skills and relationship building abilities
  • Proven ability to develop and run an effective Compliance team for consumer business
