Key responsibilities
Reporting into the Head of Operational Risk
- Assist the Head in establishing and implementing business unit risk oversight by embedding operational risk management frameworks, policies and practices within the business
- Identify any gaps within the framework and work with relevant stakeholders and external vendors for improvement
- Perform incident reporting and follow protocols for tracking and remediation
- Collate senior management reports as required
- Support the design and implementation of the firm’s BCP
- Assist in the formation of improved policies and procedures that follows market’s best practice
- Conduct training to relevant stakeholders on relevant operational risk matters
Role requirements
- A relevant degree in Business/Finance/Risk related subjects
- At least 4-7 years of relevant experience in the operational/business risk capacity
- Experience working in the financial services industry is a must
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a fast paced, ever changing and growing organization required.
- Any prior knowledge, passion or working experience from a crypto/digital asset business is advantageous
- Proficiency in English and Cantonese is a must; Mandarin is a plus
