Associate Director, Client Invoicing

An International Bank that has it Shared Services in Malaysia is looking to bring on board an Associate Director, Client Invoicing. This candidate will support the APAC market as well as the European Market.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing Client Invoicing teams locally: data acquisition and system support, client fee set up, production and controls as well as sub-custodian invoices and process payment. (up to 20 employees)
  • Being responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining initiatives and controls to standardize various processes relating to timely, accurate and complete billing and collection of all client core service fee revenue.
  • The key focus of this role will be to manage operational risks linked to the invoicing system, develop people and training, and also focus on process streamlining to increase quality and efficiency of the invoicing process overall.
  • The ideal candidate will work with key stakeholders that are also part of the revenue generation cycle

To be eligible for this role you will require:

  • Strong managerial skills, with a proven track record of managing change.
  • Demonstrated ability to assume a leadership role and to create a high performance team.
  • Keen sense of urgency, with an ability to work to tight timelines and with constantly changing priorities.
  • Project management experience
  • Having an accounting qualification is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
  • The ability to use sophisticated business information and analytic tools.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
