Our client is an international private equity firm with multiple offices across the region, who are looking for a Project Manager (Agile) to join their growing team spearheaded by the Head of Process Excellence.

Key responsibilities

  • Managing the planning, execution, and implementation of Lean Six Sigma and Process Excellence programs and projects.
  • You will be working closely with the team in US to execute and drive digital transformation programs within the organization.
  • You will be responsible for driving the full lifecycle of project delivery, from strategic planning through implementation and roll out, and be fully accountable to ensure success of program and project objectives and outcomes delivery to expectation.
  • This role will encompass majority of program and project execution, coupled with strategic planning, as well as yellow and green belt training and coaching.
  • In terms of Program and Project execution, you will be required to execute and lead against designated program and project objectives and implement agreed business benefits and outcomes effectively.
  • In terms of Strategic Planning, you will be required to participate as well as leading annual and in-year strategic planning activities for APAC, and also to grow initiative roadmap including project business case, project scope definition and resource requirements.
  • In terms of Yellow and Green Belt training and coaching:, you will be responsible for leading training programs for Yellow and Green Belt, as well as coaching candidates through certification and constantly improve on the training materials and methods.

Role requirements

  • BS/BA or equivalent qualifications.
  • 8 years or more of experience executing and leading complex and high impact cross functional strategic programs and projects that deliver quantifiable value to the firm, business teams and external clients.
  • Financial Services/Investment Management industry experience preferred with Private Equity Fund of Funds experience is advantageous.
  • Ability to translate a strategic vision into a project for execution, with a pivot on change management, user adoption and benefits realization.
  • Strong full IT lifecycle project management (SDLC) experience.
  • Experience in Program/Project Management and disciplines across Business Operations and IT projects.
  • Proven ability to diagnose problems and propose impactful recommendations, as well as identifying process risk in programs and projects.
  • Experience with both the SDLC and (Six Sigma Process Improvement Methodology) Agile strategy, approach, methodology and key deliverables from project initiation through implementation.
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt/Green Belt Certification Required.
  • Change Management and Project Management certifications preferred.
  • Successful track records of leading and implementing strategic cross functional projects and programs.
  • Ability to perpetuate effective working relationships across all levels of the organization through effective communication and conflict resolution skills.
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneur mentality/mindset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
