Regional Finance Manager (Manufacturing MNC)

Key responsibilities

• Responsible for Singapore entities’ financial operations and reporting activities and drives operational efficiency to ensure smooth day-to-day running of operations. Ensure closing activities are performed timely and accurate group reporting.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate requirements, working closely with internal and external auditors. Ensure timely and accurate submission of reports to internal and external authorities for group and statutory compliance with local GAAP. Review, examine, and analyse accounting records, prepare financial statements, and other required financial reports in a timely manner.
• Drive reviews of the current work processes and identify areas to improve for greater efficiency, including streamlining the shared services function.
• Maintain strong internal controls to govern the integrity of all systems, processes and data.
• Responsible for the APAC analysis of monthly financial results / forecasts, annual budget, supporting commercial leaders in making well-informed commercial decisions.
• Partner effectively with the APAC business stakeholders to develop the annual Budget Plan and provide management in-depth analysis for effective business decision making and execution, including providing necessary inputs and commentaries whenever required.
• Undertake analyses on APAC financial operational results and variances to provide information and recommendation. Provide technical financial advice and knowledge to other business stakeholders to drive business strategic objectives.
• Lead and roll out regional projects on finance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with policies and procedures and local accounting regulations.
