Key responsibilities
Working in a team of 4 and reporting into the Senior Legal Counsel, the incumbent will:
- Review and advise on relevant legal documentations related to IPO, ECM, DCM and M&A transactions
- Work closely with Business, Compliance other control functions to ensure the relevant legal risks are managed accordingly
- Work with external counsels as needed
- Assist with any general corporate commercial documentations as required
- Keep abreast of the legal policies/updates and provide relevant training to staff as needed
Role requirements
- A relevant degree in Law and 2-5 PQE from common law, US jurisdiction
- Experience from both in-house and/or international law firm will be considered
- Knowledge of HK regulations (listing rules, takeovers code) is advantageous
- Relevant experience in handling mixed corporate transactions (ECM, DCM, IPO, M&A)
- Proficiency in English and Chinse is a must
