Head of Compliance – Expanding Crypto

Key responsibilities

• Be MIC/MLRO for the business as well as managing a small team in Hong Kong
• Oversee/implement the firm’s compliance policies & procedures and frameworks
• Facilitate the licensing process for the business, working with local/regional regulators on issuance, renewals etc…
• Have a strong understanding of applicable regulations, industry standards and possible compliance issues in a financial services organization.
• Regularly conduct environmental scans, canvassing internal and external sources to anticipate and stay informed of changes in the dynamic compliance and regulatory environment impacting the business.
• Work with internal risk and IT teams to deploy compliance tools to meet evolving regulatory environments
• Contribute your thought leadership and collaboration to the Compliance Executive Committee and the broader compliance community.
