Financial Controller

Our client is a premium leather designer and footwear manufacturer with an international presence. They are now looking for a Financial Controller. This position will be directly report to the CEO and look after their finance department in Hong Kong.

Key responsibilities

Leading a small team of 2 subordinates
Responsible for full spectrum of finance and accounting matter with Hong Kong Office and China factory
Provide financial insight and support for business planning, forecasting and decision support
Ensure the financial control with existing financial system, processes and procedures, including internal control and corporate governance requirement
Business partnering to the CEO, provide strategic views to ensure profitability of the business
Handle any ad hoc projects / duties as assigned

Role requirements

Full Scope Finance role in a SME
International and Friendly culture
Degree holder in Accountancy with professional accounting qualification or equivalent.
At least 8 years of relevant working experience, with minimum 3 years supervisory experience in manufacturing industry is preferred
Strong technical accounting and familiar with Hong Kong and PRC accounting
Fluent command in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
