Key responsibilities
- Provide accessible and visible support and guidance to management and employees in all areas of Human Resources
- Ensure successful resolution of Employee Relations issues
- Support and coordinate Performance Review and Performance Management processes
- Implement HR initiatives in support of business and strategic plans
- Analyze HR metrics and data and use the analysis to drive conversations and initiatives with the business
- Assist in the maintenance of employee records in HRIS (Oracle)
Assist the Talent Acquisition Partner
Role requirements
- 9-11+ years of relevant HRBP experience
- HRBP experience in Banking, Captives, Financial Services firms
- Experience across the spectrum of Human Resources (employee relations, performance management, compensation & benefits) as well as experience working on HR projects and initiatives
- In-depth knowledge of provincial and federal employment law and policies
- Hands-on experience with various immigration processes such as work permit and Permanent Resident applications an asset
- Advanced skills in MS Excel
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
