VP, Product Control

Our client is a renowned international investment banking business seeking for an experienced Product Controller to join the Group’s Middle Office team and perform a hybrid role based in Hong Kong.

In addition to be responsible for all matters related to P&L and Balance Sheet, this person will also be facing the key stakeholders and bankers to accelerate decision-making and drive strategic change initiative.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

Assist in the establishment of control framework and management of financial performance for Investment Banking Division (IBD)
Ensure timely and accurate delivery of commentary on P&L, monitor invoice receivable schedules and Balance Sheet substantiation
Conduct MIS data analysis, translate & explain the analytics to key stakeholders for decision-making
Drive the best practise and maintain strong governance by identifying and remediating control risks
Drive strategic initiatives for both new business and process change
Involve in process automation and digitalization to improve efficiency and productivity

To be eligible for this role you will require:

5 to 8 years of experience in Product Control with exposure to IBD products i.e. ALF, DCM, ECM
Excellent oral and written communication & presentation skills in English, and ability to conduct high-level business conversations with Seniors
Self-motivated, attention to details with strong analytical and quantitative skills
Ability to adapt to dynamic situations and to drive changes by challenging existing process.
