Senior Legal Counsel – New Headcount, Fintech

Reporting into the Global General Counsel, the incumbent will:

• Assume a main responsibility in handling non-contentious regulatory advisory to the business for the Southeast Asian region
• Assist in handling corporate governance/secretary matters
• Lead and drive the regulatory licensing application where necessary
• Proactively identify gaps and ensure the Group’s compliance is in accordance to industry and regulatory standards
• Regularly conduct environmental scans, canvassing internal and external sources to anticipate and stay informed of changes in the dynamic compliance and regulatory environment impacting the business
• Assist in advisory on new product launches or joint ventures/partnerships
• Liaise with relevant regulators i.e. MAS on regulatory issues or enquiries that arise
• Work closely with internal stakeholders and external counsels as necessary
