Recruitment Consultant – IT/Technology

The Edge Partnership is an Asia focused recruitment firm and we are aggressively growing our IT recruitment team as a result of very strong market demand. Our presence is in 7 offices across Hong Kong, India, Malaysia, and Singapore.

We are searching for an experienced individual with a strong track record in IT /Technology recruitment within the India or Asia markets. This person will be proactive in helping and managing more junior members of the team. We are looking for a self-motivated, independent thinker who has a strong client network and the ability to build strong relationships with new clients.

Key responsibilities

  • Constructively handling IT /Technology hiring.
  • Understanding client requirements in-depth and sourcing the right talent from the industry.
  • Establishing a strong candidate network.
  • Have a strong revenue-generating track record.
  • Compiling, writing job adverts, and posting on job portals.
  • Sourcing, Headhunting, Screening appropriate CV matching client requirements via available job portals.
  • To be able to head hunt non-active candidates effectively for vacancies.
  • To utilize the database effectively while searching and record-keeping.
  • Maintaining a positive rapport and working relationship with both clients and candidates.
  • To ensure that the SLAs are consistently met.
  • Understanding and researching current market and industry sector.
  • Regular Interaction/daily meetings with team and management to discuss requirements, strategies, interview evaluations, mandate closures, forecasting and create a potential pipeline.

Role requirements

  • Graduate or MBA degree with 4-6 years of experience in the recruitment industry, Preferably Leadership hiring.
  • A stable employment background.
  • A proven track record in utilizing your initiative.
  • If previously in a sales role, a provable strong sales track record.
  • Good general IT skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
