Our client is the leading data and artificial intelligence company in Southeast Asia specialized in integrated digital, analytics, and marketing solutions. By understanding the consumer mindset and designing data-driven end-to-end digital marketing solutions, they allow leading brands to drive their digital and data maturity and achieve their business goals.

As part of their 2022 growth plans, they are looking for a group account director with a strong background in media to oversee and manage their media portfolios.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage and hold responsibility for the entire media & strategy portfolio from a business perspective.
  • Work closely with the Country Director to ensure that the cross functional teams are executing well against company goals and client expectations.
  • Oversee the strategy, creative services, ad operations and data tech teams to develop innovative data tech and creative services solutions.
  • Drive data centric discussions with clients to identify opportunities and new interests to help drive their business goals.
  • Stay on top of industry trends, media trends, innovations, and best practices across digital platforms (Search, Social, Display/ Programmatic and Mobile).

Role requirements

  • 8-10+ years plus experience in account / client management in the media industry.
  • Proven track record in client relationship management and new business developments.
  • Knowledge about the digital media industry, latest digital advertising trends, data, and analytics.
  • In-depth knowledge of performance and data-driven marketing on Facebook, Google, Programmatic platforms.
  • Expertise in pitching to clients from campaign strategy, execution, performance, analysis of results and commercial negotiations.
  • Fluent written and spoken language skills in English and Bahasa Melayu.
  • Preference for Malaysians and those with a valid resident’s pass.
