Our client is a universal bank looking for a Valuation Controller to join their middle office team.

This role will sit within their Global Product Control team in Singapore and will contribute towards global Product Control and Valuation Control objectives.

Key responsibilities

Provide independent valuations challenge, analysis, reporting and adhoc investigations for business lines
Gain extensive knowledge of the Price Testing, Fair Value Adjustment & Market Data Uncertainty calculation methodologies that apply to positions in the business.
Provide management information and reporting for regional valuation controls and coordinate updates with the wider team.
Addressing questions or requests from BIA and Risk & Controls team as required.

Role requirements

1-5 years of experience in valuations control, with understanding of derivative products commonly traded in Macro business
Candidate with a Degree in a numerical discipline and is experience in using Python will be an advantage
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
