Key responsibilities

  • The Chief Strategy Officer will be responsible for the leadership and development of the agency’s strategic practice and driving new business plans.
  • S/He is responsible for creating campaigns and brand strategies through research and uncovering consumer insights. The role will also manage the campaign measurement process to ensure that clients and agency are aligned on KPI, establishing realistic business goals, and providing accountability through reporting and analytics, and providing long-term growth strategies.
  • This role reports directly into the CEO and will lead the integrated insights and strategic planning in accordance with the agency’s goal of bringing a strong analytical foundation to uncover:
  1. Fresh and innovative insights/business opportunities
  2. Inspiring creative ideas
  • The role orchestrates strategic planning and analytical activity for all accounts within the Agency. S/He also ensures all deliverables required from the Agency, internally and externally, are met in an efficient and timely manner and identifies opportunities to consistently improve the quality of thinking applied to client business.
  • S/He continues to develop and implement standardized strategic planning tools to foster consistency over time and across projects.
  • Strategic planning
  1. Research and identify insights to develop well-informed strategic plans for clients
  2. Analyze clients’ businesses and their brands to understand their objectives
  3. Develop cohesive and intelligent strategic directions to campaigns
  4. Develop Creative Business Ideas along with senior creative leadership
  5. Support new business development in liaise with the Head of Agency, conducting prospective market research and sharing new market trends.
  6. Define and lead ad hoc research to meet accounts teams needs
  7. Train accounts team to strategic planning & research process

Role requirements

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications or in an analytical or quantitative discipline
  • At least 8 years of professional experience at a senior level in international agencies
  • Experience in strategic planning and market research
  • Marketing background and strong analytical capabilities a must
  • Demonstrated business acumen
  • Demonstrated leadership and management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Solid interpersonal and teamwork abilities as strong facilitation skills
  • Open-minded, curious, enthusiast and cultivated
  • A willingness and desire to continuously learn about new techniques and to acquire new knowledge
