Director – Strategic Business Manager and Change Management

Our client is a leading global financial institution, with a significant and growing presence in India, across multiple locations. Due to their continued growth and commitment to India they keen on hiring individual who would help implement their global change strategy. This role will effectively function as the Business Manager / Change Management and will be responsible for implementing and managing a comprehensive framework for how the firm approaches changes. This is a senior Director role with high visibility across the organization with the global business leaders. This role will require the successful individual to have a blend of business management and influencing skills combined with in depth Transformation knowledge.

Key responsibilities

  • Define and execute strategy firmwide, working closely with global business leads / stakeholders.
  • To drive change and leverage the resources to accelerate the firm’s vision.
  • Lead and drive projects and initiatives on transversal focus areas like automation, knowledge management, risk and controls.
  • On expenses, fixed assets and headcount budgeting and continuous tracking of budget performance.
  • Ensure strong governance of all spends and strategize cost optimization.

Role requirements

  • A minimum of 20 years of Business Management/ COO experience and worked in senior leadership roles with a complex multinational organization.
  • Extensive Business Finance and Business management experience within financial services or Banking company (captive / Shared service).
  • To be a strategic thinker and have the influencing skills to be able to implement your strategies.
  • Demonstrated leadership track record and people management skills, cross functions and regions.
  • Naturally excellent verbal and written communication skills.
