Key responsibilities

  • Provide strategic direction to for the India Employee Relations function.
  • Lead, guide, advise and coordinate a team of ER professionals.
  • Collaborate on the disciplinary process.
  • Partner and collaborate with other investigative functions and HR teams wherever required.
  • Maintain compliance to legal, labour or regulatory requirements.

Role requirements

  • Minimum 17+ years of experience in a Human Resources function. (Advisory/Generalist, Business Partner) including minimum 6+ years in specialized Employee Relations role.
  • Extensive experience as a Human Resources or Employee Relations Specialist, ideally acquired within a fast-paced financial services environment.
  • Proven understanding of the India employment law and regulatory frameworks (exposure to, and/or a full appreciation of the regulatory environment and the regulator’s expectations in the context of employee conduct / disciplinary matters is essential).
