Key responsibilities

Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role will perform and review operational activities.
Responsible for a wide spectrum of month-end closing activities including reconciliation, Interco transaction, payroll, AP, and financial modelling.
Preparation and review of financial statements, balance sheet and Profit & Loss variance analysis.
Co-ordination of audit activities, working closely with external auditors.
Meeting the applicable accounting standards (IFRS, SFRS), tax and other regulations.

Role requirements

Degree in Accountancy and relevant accounting qualifications (CA/CPA).
At least 6 years of relevant experience in financial accounting, preferably in financial services industry.
Familiar with financial statement preparations (IFRS standard) and group consolidation, reconciliations, and audit.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel).
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
