Key responsibilities

Reporting into the General Counsel as part of a legal team of 5.
Responsible for advising the group on legal matters related to the investment management business.
Draft, review and negotiate various documentations/terms sheet for new and existing fund offerings, including SFC authorized funds, ETF, private funds, mutual funds, alternative investment funds, etc.
Support in handling other legal documentations including distribution agreements, shareholder agreements, SPAs, and other general corporate commercial agreements, etc.
Advise on regulatory related matters for the investment management business.

Role requirements

Around 6 PQE+ from a common law jurisdiction from a reputable international law firm.
In-house legal experience from investment management space is highly preferred but not a must.
Strong drafting and communication skills with strong business acumen.
Keen attention to detail and ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
Proficiency in written/spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese) is a must.
