Associate – Middle Office (Loans/Rates)

Our client is an International bank who are looking for an Associate to join their Global Middle Office team.

This role will support either:

Global Markets and Credit covering vanilla Bonds, Equities, vanilla derivative products, and credit insurance; OR
Rates, Proprietary and Treasury desks covering trades in vanilla OTC, listed Interest Rate Derivatives as well as more bespoke and hybrid structures.

Key responsibilities

Performed timely and accurate trade capture, daily trade validation, trade life-cycle management, position/risk reconciliations, exception monitoring and T+0 P&L flash.
Portfolio optimization like compressions and coupon-blending across Flow, Structured Rates and Cross-Asset Hybrid products.
Ensuring proper settlement and timely break resolution.

Role requirements

5-7 years in a middle office role.
Experience in dealing with fixed income derivatives or rates. Experience structured products background will be an advantage.
