Strategic Planning Director

Our client is an award winning digital first agency in Singapore, specializing in Transformation in Marketing, Experience and Business.

They are currently looking for a leader for their strategic planning team. A leader who sets the tone for how they address their clients’ transformation challenges. And one who directs how they find, define, and analyze data, research ideas and trends with intelligence and rigour to extract those few insights that matter and are actionable.

It doesn’t stop there. The Strategic Planning Director will also lead the team that sharpens these insights, to build an intelligent and cohesive transformation program that brings clients success. You will be responsible for developing and owning their transformation planning process and be the champion for their B2Human approach that truly understands people, not just prospects. And finally, you are the champion to grow and refine their insights knowledge base.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and champion strategic planning across the company and its client accounts.
  • Partner with key clients to gain their trust and respect.
  • Lead and guide your team in transformation strategy development for clients and new business.
  • Direct cohesive and intelligent plans to bring success to programmes.
  • Own the growth and maintenance of their strategic knowledge base.
  • Champion a growing understanding across the agency of transformational strategy and case studies across Marketing, Experience and Digital Transformation.

Role requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in an agency leading and directing strategic planning with both B2B & B2C clients.
  • An avid interest in the intersection between technology and culture/human behavior.
  • A natural Storyteller—a highly articulate and persuasive writer and speaker (samples of presentations are required).
  • Demonstrable ability to simplify/synthesize complex data from a variety of sources and then communicate solutions in a simply fresh perspective. (Give ‘meaning’ to the complex—sees patterns that others don’t yet see).
  • Possess the ability to create a well thought out, data-backed strategic plan of action for client campaigns across the full spectrum of modern marketing channels.
  • Independent, determined; loves taking responsibility and problem solving.
  • Some kind of degree (or in lieu of it, you know quite a bit of things – bring it).
  • A team player, someone who truly gets and contributes to a positive and growing company culture.
  • Skilled familiarity with various research techniques and sources (qualitative consumer research, various forms of quantitative research methodologies).
  • You are the sort of person who:
