Key responsibilities

Be responsible for the oversight of compliance matters for the Investment Banking Department (IBD) covering APAC jurisdictions.
Take the lead on regulatory projects related to on-going regulatory changes related to policies & procedures and develop & manage required enhancements to ensure compliant to regulatory standards.
Manage the overall conducts of the IBD team and handle any escalations, investigations, and reporting of potential breaches.
Take ownership of relevant industry group discussions/presentations.
Work closely with Business, Risk, and other control functions to ensure the relevant regulatory risks are managed accordingly.
Maintain and update relevant compliance training programs as required.

Role requirements

A relevant degree in Law, Finance, Business, or related disciplines.
12+ years of compliance experience from Control Room/IBD compliance functions.
Excellent team management, and senior stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in English and Chinese is a must.
