A well-known media agency is looking to bring onboard a Strategic Planning Manager. This position will work alongside the Strategy Director to bring a high level of strategic thinking, campaign development and collaboration to the business across an exciting portfolio of global & regional brands.

Key responsibilities

  • Being part of new business development and pitches.
  • Build leadership skills via mentorship and on-job training that enables you to lead and independently manage a set of clienteles.
  • Gain confidence in client service and relationship management as well as mentorship to younger talents and talent growth development plan.
  • Work closely with Strategy Director to drive communications planning and more strategic approaches to media planning and solutions.
  • Brand campaign planning, brainstorming of media & creative ideas and campaign strategy and proposal development to client.
  • Develop understanding for unearthing trends and consumer insights that drives media ideas and strategies.
  • Gain holistic media planning, with hybrid function of planning and delivering both offline & online solutions.

Role requirements

  • 5 years’ experience in media/marketing and ideally most recently in a Strategy role.
  • A proven track record of leading strategic/planning initiatives.
  • Strong collaboration skills – working with different client teams, agency, and partner stakeholders to gain alignment around a focused strategic approach.
  • Solid understanding of the media landscape to ensure strategies are implementable.
  • Strong quantitative & qualitative analytical skills.
  • A positive energy and hunger to learn.
  • A ‘can-do’ bold attitude.
  • A passion for ideas, building brands and understanding consumers.
  • Great interpersonal skills.
