Asia Region Logistics Manager

Our client is a well-known European premium brand with a long history of success. Due to business expansion, they are currently looking for a seasoned logistics manager with strong project management skills to join their APAC HQ in Hong Kong.

Key responsibilities

  • Reporting to the Regional Supply Chain Director and leading a small team; you will act as a ‘go-to’ person for all things logistics in the region, providing effective solutions.
  • Manage and review key logistics services providers (3PLs) and develop & maintain strategic relationships with these partners.
  • Define and setup logistics operations for new markets and lead all tendering activities and 3PL contract negotiations.
  • Evaluate, strengthen, and improve the current processes, reporting and analysis based on KPIs.
  • Monitor and control the logistics costs and budget.
  • Supervise warehouse and transportation team, working closely with other departments to ensure a seamless logistics operation.
  • Work closely the European HQ and the various markets in the Asia Region to review logistics performance and drive cost efficiency.

Role requirements

  • University degree or above, ideally with major in Logistics or Supply Chain Management.
  • Strong project management experience, and with solid 3PL management & tendering exposure.
  • Sound analytical and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Ability to working in a multi-market & multi-cultural environment.
  • Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience with at least 3 years managerial exposure leading a small team.
  • Excellent English and Chinese Mandarin languages with robust communication skills.
  • Strong numerical sense and excellent MS Excel skills.
