Key responsibilities
Reporting to the Lead Counsel, you will be:
- Legal business partner and provide legal advice and compliance support for the shipping and commodity trading business in the region
- This could range from commercial contract reviews to legal risk mitigation by identifying potential regulatory exposure in contracts
- Work with internal litigation team to resolve disputes
- Manage and liaise with external lawyers on all legal matters where needed
Role requirements
Ideally, you are:
- With at least 6 PQE with prior experience working in physical commodity trading sectors or servicing commodity trading clients when in Practice.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to multi-task are also key success factors.
