Accountant – Financial Accounting (APAC)

Key responsibilities

  • Monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting work, including journal entry, monthly and quarterly.
  • Closing, prepare P/L & Trail Balance & Balance Sheet, consolidation, and reconciliation, make adjustments, draft FS, etc.
  • Coordinate and assist in completing the annual audit for all entities in 9 regions and countries, as well as various special audits.
  • Developed and maintained relationships with local tax consultants, accounting firms and auditors.
  • Cooperate with the government, complete, and submit the quarterly and annual financial data declaration of Statistics and other government departments, as well as the financial information declaration of all investment and related subsidiaries.
  • Assist the group to analyze financial risks and make financial adjustment plans in the process of new entity setting up and acquisition process.
  • Provide financial data according to the business needs of other departments.
  • Assist tax, treasury, FSSC and other finance departments in local assignments.

Role requirements

  • Degree in Accounting/Finance, ACCA or equivalent with CPA certifications.
  • Must possess min 4 years’ experience and above, with regional/APAC full sets experience.
  • Familiar with local and financial regulations & declarations from MNCs/technology driven firms.
  • Prior working experience from large audit firms will be a plus.
  • Strong practical & understanding knowledge of IFRS and tax laws.
  • Possess Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, work with ERP accounting and reporting system, working knowledge in Oracle and HFM highly preferred.
  • Self-driven, strong team player, able to work independently & strong stakeholder management skills.
