Key responsibilities

  • Verify and process assigned employee reimbursement requests for APAC regions on a daily basis. To validate reimbursement information is accurate and supporting documents are legitimate & ensure the correct expense codes and details in accordance with company reimbursement policies.
  • To communicate with employees for timely and professional discussion on inquiries and/or any discrepancies related to expense reimbursement.
  • Actively monitor reports and identify the possible fraudulent activities and escalate “exception” matters and/or non-compliance cases when needed.
  • Provide regular training of reimbursement system and policies to employees as required.
  • Work closely with external vendor on AP reconciliation and employee reimbursement in certain countries.
  • File expense reports and related hard-copy receipts in compliance with local regulatory requirements.
  • Able to identify the opportunities to improve current processes and communicate the needs with team lead for continuous improvement.
  • Assist in ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the team lead.

Role requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and above preferably in accounting or finance-related field with min 3 years of AP/accounting experience, preferably from shared services from hi-technology driven MNCs/internet-based company.
  • Strong proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite Software; experience using Concur and Oracle is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Excel is mandatory.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a good team player with a positive customer service mindset.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize, in a fast-pace and dynamic environment.
  • Highly motivated and willing to accept changes & challenges.
