Key responsibilities

  • Leading a matrix organization of the strategic sourcing team worldwide, driving & spearheading the global strategy & roadmap to support the ongoing growth within the organization.
  • Full accountability of driving best in class sourcing and procurement initiatives and developing synergies through strategic alliances with suppliers.
  • Building strong and effective relationships with the functional leaders and other key stakeholders across the global markets, supporting them in defining cost effective business strategies.
  • Designing and reviewing performance metrics regularly and identifying opportunities for continuous improvements.

Role requirements

  • Strong leadership and self-motivation, with track record building trust with global partners to deliver optimal global solutions.
  • A minimum of 18+ years professional strategic sourcing & procurement experience and solid achievement in developing & leading global/ multi-markets procurement activities and strategic supplier relationships ideal.
  • Expert understanding of procurement and sourcing policies, procedures, and practices; with success in leading change management; and delivering year-on-year cost savings and added value to the business through various supply chain/ procurement initiatives.
  • Demonstrated excellence in managing global stakeholders’ relationships and alignment on expectations & outcome.
  • Superb executive level influencing & negotiation skills with sound knowledge on contractual negotiations.
  • Excellent command in English and ideally also fluency in Chinese language.
