Media Sales Executive

Our client is the world leader in travel media and to capitalize on their growth, they’re looking for talented Media Sales Executives to join their team in Malaysia and help monetize their array of exclusive travel channels, which include digital platforms, airport and inflight opportunities for their clients.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue through advertising sales across their engaging and highly viewed platforms. The sales representatives will manage the entire sales from initial contact to completion. These are exciting and highly rewarding roles for the right individuals.

Key responsibilities

  • Sell advertising by talking to buyers, C-Level executives, and key decision makers daily.
  • Actively identify and source prospective clients to maintain a robust pipeline of business leads.
  • Conduct cold calls, schedule virtual and in-person sales meetings to engage prospects and follow up on sales opportunities.
  • Create and drive territory growth strategies to meet and exceed performance metrics.
  • Negotiate sales agreements in accordance with company parameters.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends and changing territory demographics.
  • Prepare sales presentations and coordinate closing agreements.
  • Serve as main point of contact addressing client/prospect questions and concerns.

Role requirements

  • 1+ years sales experience (ideally in digital media) preferable but not required as we will train and coach the skills needed to succeed.
  • Account management and industry networking experience is an advantage but not essential.
  • Outstanding communication and relationship building skills.
  • Ability to focus and thrive in high-pressure conditions.
  • Tenacious, persistent, and resilient.
  • Motivated and able to work in a close team environment.
  • Committed to meeting and exceeding personal sales performance expectations.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work well independently.
