Head of Business Development

Our client is a leader in the BPO space providing specialist software solutions to its clients. They are currently seeking a seasoned Business Development professional to further grow their services in the APAC region. The ideal candidate would be an established sales professional with a proven record of growing sales revenue and experience interacting with senior executives.

Key responsibilities

  • Own and lead the business development responsibilities for the region.
  • Act as the regional leader liaising with CXOs from targeted clients.
  • Lead strategic revenue generation opportunities across Fund Accounting & Middle Office outsourcing industry.
  • Manage the entire business development process including prospecting, building sales pipelines, cross-selling, negotiation and closing.
  • Cultivate strong relations with clients, understand their needs and successfully deliver solutions.

Role requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or above ideally in Finance or Technology.
  • At least 8 years of sales experience ideally in the outsourcing/BPO industry.
  • Proven track record of exceeding or achieving high individual targets in terms of closing deals and gaining revenue.
  • Solid knowledge of Middle Office, Fund Accounting, Trade Processing outsourcing market.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills and Fluent English, Cantonese or Mandarin would be a plus.
  • Strong networking skills, able to communicate effectively with key clients and internal leaders.
  • Energetic personality with a go-getter and entrepreneurial mindset.
