Our client is a market leading broking house and are due to a renewed focus on re-engineering processes and systems to ensure they are world class they are currently looking for an experienced finance change professional to join their team in London with strong accounting background and change management experience running global projects in regulatory and accounting policy.

Key responsibilities

  • Responsible for the overall performance of the team including governance, operating model, project and program delivery, people management and new capability buildout.
  • Provide monthly status updates (Documentation, KPIs, Risks, Progression, Resourcing, Costs) to the Finance Leadership Team.
  • Partner with Technology to ensure the projects are budgeted and delivered in a timely manner.
  • Ability to work with business SMEs as well as project and IT representatives.
  • Work closely with the finance teams, wider business support and internal/external development teams to identify possible projects which could deliver material benefits to the existing Finance Framework.

Role requirements

  • Overall, 10-12 years of experience in a Change function driving change/transformation program with 5+ years finance operations knowledge.
  • Should have worked on technical accounting changes – USGAAP/IFRS/COREP.
  • Strategic thinker who can drive strategies.
  • Strong senior stakeholder management experience and Strong communication ability (verbal & written).
